Philippines – Finally, a review to one of my favourite restaurants in Maginhawa St., Quezon City. Griddle Steak X Wings is one of the top go-to restaurants in town. Aside from its food that will surely makes you drool, to the price that’s so reasonable, plus the place’s cool ambience, you’d definitely want to dig in!
Griddle Steak X Wings offers American-Filipino dish that you’d surely love. If you are into steaks and wings, this place is for you! Tired of eating buffalo-barbecue-flavoured wings? Try their newly innovated flavoured wings as they’ve created a very brilliant idea that would really soothe and impress your palates. Heard of “sinigang” flavoured wings? How about “kare-kare” flavoured wings? “Bagoong” flavoured? You might be thinking now of how weird that sounds are, right? Same reaction when I first heard about it. Tell you, you really have to try and see for yourself.
When we’re paying a visit, we always order the “United Wingdom.” This set includes four kinds of their flavoured wings. You just have to choose which flavours you would like to try. Flavours include: Honey Bagoong, Kare-Kare Glaze, Sinigang Glaze, Smoky Barbecue, Creamy Chimichuri, Cheesy Nacho, Classic Buffalo. I have already tried all of them, trust me they’re all bombs! You can order two sets of this dish so you could try them all at once.

Another thing that we’ve tried is their pasta, they’re all good, enough for the price, but didn’t appeal me well (since I’m a pasta lover, I’ve keen taste when it comes to pasta). And for me, it was just ok.
The steaks were good, too. I mean, enough for those who craves for cheap-thrills steak as they offer a very generous amount of the steak plus side dishes.
The “Lechon Tacos” is also a favourite. One bite, then bam! You can definitely feel and taste the flavour of the lechon inside and crispiness will never let you down. This dish is so promising. It deserves an award. *clap clap*

Another favourite is this “Kare-Kare” Rice con Lechon. Man, the lechon is so straight forward. They’re so generous to give a slab of crispy lechon in a rice bowl. Need I say more? A-Must-Try.
